I filmed once. The same roar went from my room to the savanna.
My own videos, transformed into new characters. The same simple method, with a different character image.
The jaws stayed open at 480p. A clean start and a 1080p run made the jaw follow me.
My cut started mid-sound, so the beak was open from frame one. A run that started a moment earlier fixed it.
A pair from the same video. A big, open expression like this is the kind of move that carries over.
The tested shortcut. Higgsfield’s own Genjutsu guide explains the tool for free. This one shows what I learned on my own videos: what worked, what failed and how I fixed it.

These are my own performances and AI results. This is the simple method I used, with observations from my actual tests.
Higgsfield Genjutsu takes the movement from your video and the look from your character image. It needs a Higgsfield plan with credits, and the app shows the cost before you generate.

Yes. Film your performance. Edit one frame into your chosen character. Upload the video and that image to Genjutsu and generate. The free quick start covers exactly that. The paid guide adds my examples, settings and the fixes for what went wrong. An editor is only needed to trim the result, fix its timing or make a before-and-after layout.
Your own video, an image editor and a Higgsfield plan with credits for Genjutsu. I made my lion image with Nano Banana Pro on Higgsfield. ChatGPT or another editor that edits an uploaded photo may work too; I haven’t tested them for this guide. Tool access and generation costs are separate, and the app shows the cost before you generate.
The Higgsfield link on this page marked “Ad link: Higgsfield · 18+” is an affiliate link. I earn a commission if you subscribe through it. The guide works the same without it, and Higgsfield’s own Genjutsu guide is free.
The free 2-page quick start gives you the complete basic method. The paid 38-page guide adds what I learned in my own runs: making the character image, the cheap 480p test, which characters followed and which didn’t, ten fixes, real examples, moving a take to a new world and copy-paste prompts, also as a TXT file. There is no secret step. Both are in English. Personal coaching is not included.
No. Lion, gorilla, eagle and chimpanzee worked for me. A rooster, a terrier and a wolf didn’t follow my movement; that footage had small moves and human gestures, and a rooster’s body is far from mine. A body that can do your moves helps, but it doesn’t guarantee a good result. Robots, fantasy creatures and cartoon characters are untested.
